Personalized Support. Lasting Peace of Mind.

Where compassionate care, healthy living, and real connection come together to give your loved one a true home away from home.

Welcome to A Family of Care.

When someone you love needs more support than you can give on your own, the decision can feel overwhelming. At A Family of Care, we make that choice feel simple and comforting. Through warm, personalized attention, homemade meals, meaningful activities, and caregivers who genuinely love like family, we ensure every resident is cared for emotionally, mentally, physically, and socially.

Why Families Trust Us

Care That Feels Like Home

Our homes are intimate, peaceful, and filled with daily routines that help residents feel grounded and safe. Every detail, from the meals we prepare to the way we greet each person each morning, is designed to feel like family.

Truly Personalized Support

No two residents are alike, and their care shouldn’t be either. We meet every individual where they are — physically, cognitively, emotionally — and tailor our support to their needs, preferences, and pace.

Companionship & Connection

We believe that joy and belonging are essential parts of care. Residents stay engaged with daily activities, movement, music, games, and more, all guided by caregivers who treat them with patience, and kindness.

Our Services

Residential Care

A warm, welcoming home staffed by skilled caregivers who assist with medications, meals, hygiene, mobility, laundry, social engagement, and more, all with extraordinary attentiveness.

Memory Care

Specialized support for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, and other cognitive conditions. We focus on creating routines, stimulation, and emotional reassurance that help residents thrive at every stage.

For families who want to keep their loved one at home, we offer personalized in-home support, from bathing and dressing to meal help and companionship.

Hospice Support

In partnership with trusted local hospice providers, we ensure comfort, dignity, and careful coordination during life’s most tender moments. Families feel reassured knowing their loved one is never alone.

Senior Care Placement

If a resident isn’t the right fit for our homes, we’ll help you find the perfect one. As placement specialists, we guide families through choosing Assisted Living, Residential Care, or Memory Care communities through our partnership with Creating New Hope.

Meals Made with Love

Every day, our kitchens are filled with comforting, freshly prepared meals made from local fruits and vegetables. We happily accommodate dietary restrictions and serve everything with care — and often, a homemade dessert. But meals here are about more than nutrition. They’re about comfort. Routine. Conversation around the table. The familiar smell of something baking in the oven.

We believe food should nourish the whole person. That’s why we focus on balanced, home-cooked meals that support overall health while still feeling warm and familiar. Whether a resident needs diabetic-friendly options, softer foods, heart-healthy meals, or simply a favorite dish that brings back memories, we take the time to prepare it thoughtfully.

Residents gather together to eat, share stories, laugh, and enjoy the simple rhythm of the day. For many families, one of the first things they notice is how much better their loved one is eating, and how much joy they find in it!

Life Enrichment & Activities

At A Family of Care, we believe that thriving doesn’t stop with age. Every resident deserves to feel stimulated, connected, capable, and joyful. That’s why we thoughtfully design our monthly activity calendars to nurture the whole person: mentally, emotionally, socially, and physically.

Daily, our residents recieve:

How We Started

Several years ago, Kathleen's mother came to live with her and her husband, Mark. Eileen was diagnosed with dementia, diabetes, was overweight and was fairly uninterested in life. They took it upon themselves to learn as much as they could to help mom. Eileen's health improved as well as her social interaction. Through this journey, they realized that they could provide a peaceful and loving environment for other seniors.

Brian was similarly shaped by watching the compassionate hospice care his own mother received.

Together, they built A Family of Care on a simple belief: seniors deserve to be cared for with dignity and families deserve peace of mind.
